This is an ultra stylized pic. I was trying some new things. I wanted to have the coloring kind of fade out from the back shapes in the back. Also this was done on cardboard. Overall I'd say I wasn't very succssessful. But I'm learning and I love to try new things. One thing I did really really enjoy was being able to use white colored pencil to bring out highlights, especially on the diaper, which believe it or not, diapers are hard to draw. White plastic is one of the toughest things to illistrate in color. You have to add shading in specific colors. It's tough. But it was much easier using a mid tone instead of just white paper. So try try again

pigtails are sexy :)
Reminds me of someone I used to run into when clubbing....
Yay! for pigtails everyone! I have my hair like that I'd say 75% of the time. Sadly I don't have bows that big, but maybe one day.

And yes I really do find people of every race attractive and beautiful. I know I sound like a hallmark card or something but I really do. I don't feel any one group of people should be overwhelmingly represented in any area. Since this is what I do, this is where I'll make my contribution. Also it gets boring drawing the same people over and over. so.... yeah.
That's so true, now that you mention it Elven-Dreamer. I'm glad someone else has noticed that because I thought I was the only one. It's pleasing to find artists who vary the people they draw, be it on race, weight, sex, etc. rather than just have an archetype they stick to.

I like this pic and I'm glad you had fun making it. Experimenting is fun. It is a neat shading style everything looks glossy. I also like the fact that she looks black, so many times I see artists get locked into one way of drawing people (I include myself in this) that every person they draw starts to look the same. It's good to see that you have included some of the genetic body structure traits that indicate race and not just relying on color to do it for you. ^_^ Good stuff.
Aw, I was about to say the same thing, ikklesammy! ^_^ Those bows are the coolest.

I like this pic. I like the way you experiment with your pics, PD. This actually reminds me of graffiti art a little.
