I think the color and shading are as great as usual. The vortex looks cool as well, making a sort of bridge to babyhood. I also liked how each stage looked. Her original adult self does really looked pained from the attack. I also liked how she seems to be falling into her crawling position like her legs are already giving out on her. I also like how her hair gets shorter and shorter and how her shirt gets looser and looser. I especially like the last few stages where she's more bewildered than anything else. All in all, a very, very good job.
I think this is a GREAT panel! It has great use of line and color, and it does a superb job of showing a "magical regression" of the girl! Keep upthe outstanding work.
I have to say, I think you do transformation sequences REALLY well. A lot better than a number of artists I've seen, particularly when it's usually pretty easy to just skip the process with a "poof" and have the same end result.
These probably take a really long time to draw, but I do think your sequence of the entire transformation always looks fantastic, whether it's that long shot of Baby-Girl shifting forms after the bottle, that transformation sequence you did for Thrandall, or that sketch in your scraps section I liked so much. This is no exception, and I love how you colored the magic effect to go with it. The page layout is a little adventurous, I agree, but experimenting with ways to make the page look dynamic is good even if you think it doesn't work out. I still think this is my favorite page in the comic overall.
